You don't even need to look at the arrows. You can see the MA crosses without an arrow. The crosses will not change.

Its because Sunday messes up the lookback. You need to take Friday's H/L/C and compute them yourself. Here's a pivot calculator: url

They were crossed during the formation of the bar. When the bar completed, they were no longer crossed. EMAs move as the candle forms. Once the candle completes, their positions are fixed for that bar...ie They don't repaint.

You have to watch the bar form in real time to know if it touched. Sometimes you can look back on a chart and it's obvious it did. Sometimes it's obvious it didn't. On the chart you posted, I can tell it didn't. The highs of the bars barely touch ...
