Jurrasic replied Sep 11, 2008JOURNALS ARE FOR WUSSIES.
Kidding.
I'm just not a journal kind of guy, but I think it's definetly important what state you're in when making trading decisions. If you're upset about something and especialy fx because you lost on the ...Psychology Journal

Jurrasic replied Sep 11, 2008Doesn't matter what it's called. These are trades where you REALLY trade what you see, and not just making educated guesses. And these should give you the best results overall too. Thanks. Cool. I didn't trade this move, I watched it on 5m but was a ...

Jurrasic replied Sep 11, 2008Very good. That's how intraday trading works. Wait for good opportunities with a 1:1 or better r:r, set sl & tp and forget. As in, don't touch it unless there's news or price just hangs 1 pip from your tp for 10 minutes and pisses you off. lol

Jurrasic replied Sep 11, 2008Depends on where and if you intend to tp it. It should get to the pivot, but beyond that who knows. Be content with what you can get.

Jurrasic replied Sep 11, 2008It's quite possible that it will not continue for much longer, but it's a useless speculation as trading against a strong trend is a waste of time and money. When it turns it won't happen all at once anyway, so should be plenty of time for mid and ...

Jurrasic replied Sep 11, 2008Probably a 1:1 trade, so 1.9 I guess..
Horray to the long-term traders who can keep it in like this, I might've been on psych medication already if I had to keep a position open this long, and that's considering even the trend is very ...EURUSD

Jurrasic replied Sep 10, 2008True, true. I was not implying it will break 1.3, which coincides with that monthly fib level too, just looking at the broader picture without taking a position on what might happen. I am not so sure of my previous view though of the uptrend's ltl ...

Jurrasic replied Sep 10, 2008Perfect bounce from weekly s1. I have no idea why people would want to create "their own" pivots. The whole idea behind them is that people know about them. They have no force outside of that. url

Jurrasic replied Sep 10, 2008What weekly pivot do you have there ? I have weekly s1 at 1.4067 and next is weekly s2 at 1.387.

Jurrasic replied Sep 10, 2008You want to go in the opposite direction only when the local trend looks over extended and out of steam AND up against a barrier - a round number (psych as Acumen calls them) or a pivot (daily pivot 136 here, though the move was not really ...

Jurrasic replied Sep 10, 2008Donno.. But you don't have to trade every move you see, it was a fairly easy formation on 15m-5m charts of the past several hours - a high and then a prolonged lower ranging that fails to break higher and then a drop. If you took the drop then you ...

Jurrasic replied Sep 10, 2008The way the hourly is shaping up we could be starting another drop with target below 1.4.. But still too early to tell with reasonable certainty.

Jurrasic replied Sep 8, 2008Did that break the record for a single day range on EU ? I think so. 08/09/08 ate 08/08/08 for breakfast. Let's see what happens on 08/10/08.

Jurrasic replied Sep 8, 2008This time I'm more inclined to agree with you, the range for the next 2-3 days will probably be 1.4-1.43. But still that uptrend trendline at 385-39 is a potential target for this month..

Jurrasic replied Sep 8, 2008You can look at the chart I attached a few messages above yours and see it was all quite logical actually. Which is not to say very predictable but still not very much surprising.
