I don't think we will see much movement until the US open. The UK bank rate is no surprise. Housing numbers and unemployment are the real news today and should help lead the direction for today. Just my two cents.

I think any gains from today if they occur will be short lived. The US does have room for rate hikes. The UK on the other hand no way and cuts sometime next year? The statements later this week are really the defining moment.
