Httham, thanks for your insight. Just as Rumba explained, the Gartley was identified before the ensuing price action. You would notice my emphasis was on the confluence – not price.

Using higher time-frames to draw fibs isn’t a bad idea since the higher the time-frame, the stronger the fib retracement levels. Though I don’t trade the aussie, I won’t be surprised if it has plunged: seems the dollar is rallying broadly.
