Several months ago, I was logging the pip movement for a basket from market open Sunday to market close Friday every week. I generated graphs such as yours for each each week. I was looking for patterns of big pip movements up and down. I was hoping ...

No, I do not exclude any pairs. Look at the currency strength of the different currencies on my indicator. NZD is a "1", so it would not be included in any trade suggestions since my trade level is set to "2". image Now look at Pippo's. image ...

Tim, I kept the VB2 open so I could continue monitoring. After I closed my RB, it went up higher to +226 pips. It then went down to 0 after about 1 hour. A couple of hours ago it went back up to +150 pips. Right now it is around +20 pips. I use ...

You can read my Post #13,317 to show how I had been using the system. Note that 14:10 GMT is for summer months (daylight savings time). It will be 15:10 GMT the rest of the year. This is what I do now: 1. Open a VB on Tuesday 15:10 GMT, instead of a ...

I closed my RB1 manually at 17:15 GMT for +152 pips. I generally exit earlier with less than 10 positions. It is still a good profit.

According to the new entry strategy, I opened VB1 on Tuesday at 15:10 GMT, with positive trigger at +40 pips and negative trigger at -300 pips. RB1 opened at 15:37 GMT after hitting positive trigger. When RB1 opened, I opened manually VB2 with a ...

Thank you for that. Unfortunately it does not help me because I have to open each basket in a different account. Since I trade from the USA, I have to follow the "First In - First Out" rule (FIFO). If I opened two baskets in the same account, I ...

I thought about that, but I'm not going to make different rules depending on the number of pairs. I want to keep the system simple, since it has already shown that it is profitable over the long term. Adding the positive pip trigger should make it ...

Thomas, I use FF. My set file is published in Post #13,314. I never considered using CMSM because it continually changes trade suggestions. My system opens a second basket after a big drawdown. I wanted to make sure that if a second basket opens, it ...

You are correct that the changes will require more screen time and management of the entries. But after analyzing the very positive effect the changes would have made in my results, I feel I have to try the changes. Other than the increased screen ...

Yes, it is possible. If I start missing too many second basket entries because of the new strategy, I would revert to the original strategy. It is still very profitable.

It is possible that the RB goes straight down past the negative trigger. What would I do? If it is below or near the trigger level, I would open the second basket immediately. If it has recovered sufficiently so it is not near the trigger level any ...

You adjust the negative trigger level on the new VB. Here is an example. RB opens and you are not at the computer. The trigger level for the new VB should be -500 pips. Several hours later you get to your computer and you see that the RB is at -200 ...

I never had one open and close before the normal Tuesday open. I don't know if I would do a normal Tuesday setup. Probably not. I may open a Tuesday setup with minimum position size just as an experiment.
