Yes I see what you mean but if you zoom right out you can see that it is a ranging area really (chart 1) dropping down to the 1 minute timeframe though it does split it into more detailed areas of trend/range (chart 2)

I'm not sure if you need a mechanical system .... our eyes are probably good enough. I think an understanding of the best settings for each TF and pair is the main thing that needs to be set up... an set a different template for each then just watch ...
