The loonie is acting too loonie for me these days. Oil is up, CDN economy is up, USDx is down but still USD/CDN is up. Just no way to predict what it's gonna do next. I don't do indicators but at this point throwing darts at a board would predict ...
USDCAD trend reversal?

Both Euro and Cable are looking way overbought right now on Dailies. 1.3 is going to be key resistance IMHO. Long term people are still saying Euro is going down 1.15ish.

Do any of you guys 'get' sarcasm or are you too busy looking at your pretty charts decorated with multicolored spaghetti all over it.

Get what? A pony? I like ponies!

The triple top (almost a 4th) on H4 looks inviting. Definitely very hard resistance. However, the sentiment is bullish right now so I'm gonna pass on this one.

But they look so pretty. I can change the colour and make some dotted and some dashed. I can make some thicker and some thinner. The more pretty the more money I make....right?

I agree with all that. Especially 1 and 2 but sometimes I pick up something I missed when others post charts. The clean ones not the ones with spaghetti all over the place.

Looking like possible failure to break 5200. Sentiment a bit too bullish right now though IMHO.

The supply/demand thing doesn't quite work so simply for Forex as it does actual companies selling products. Each trade involves supply of one currency for demand of another. And there are usually several pairs involved when you are talking USD or ...

Isn't that just another way of saying support/resistance then?

lol....I can't even see the candlesticks behind all that spaghetti on some of these charts. Where are you getting your supply/demand info from or are you assuming that is what's happening by looking at the chart?

Hidden Divergence — I'm good for about 60pips so far. Hopefully it stays in that direction when London opens.

Yes, too soon to tell but it's looking like the corrective retrace is running out of steam on E/U, G/U and U/C. G/U is giving stronger signals so I'm sticking with that for now. I think E/U might try tickle 1.3 once or twice before heading south.

I've got a short stop in at 1.5048. That's just how I roll. Either it retraces a bit and I get in before it continues to roll downhill or I miss out by being too greedy and I'll have to trade something else tomorrow. I'm not buying that this is a ...

It's not the gov't it's the banks although in China the distinction is not so clear. These big banks trade with each other and they develop business relationships with each other and yes, that includes Chinese banks.

Don't forget about Europe with most of the Financial activity centered around Frankfurt. They are in the same business time zone as London so that also accounts for a lot of the London activity.
Why is the Asian session such low volume?
- pip_daddy replied Jul 10, 2010
I think you have to consider time zone as well. You will either have to change your trading style or change your trading schedule. Thailand, for example, is pretty good. London market opens around 2pm I think. That's the best time to be indoors in ...
