raczekfx replied Oct 17, 2006Thank you for sharing this with us, Mr Trend. This is actually my story as well. Less stress and in many cases my limit orders are executed while I'm asleep. Number of pips per month is almost the same, but I still fight the urge to scalp on 4hrs.

raczekfx replied Oct 15, 2006Welcome to the Factory pipspips. You kind of rushed in, but you never know where market will go. If I had your trades, I'd probably set my buy stop orders (hedge) as follows: fiber: 1.2460 cable: 1.8480 usd/jpy: 120.05 I'm not sure how long you've ...

raczekfx replied Oct 13, 2006I still think, there might be a run on 2500 barrier, before day's over or early next week. If you want to short dollar, wait till it hits 2460/80 and 8440/60.

raczekfx replied Oct 7, 2006I use hedge with caution, but will definitely use it, if trades go against me and I still support reasons for taking them. E.g. short usd/jpy, but I will not discuss it here.

raczekfx replied Oct 6, 2006Generally I’m long yen and had to buy my stops today (hedge), due to wild market. 119.20/40 should hold as you can see on your chart that level is strong resistance. That area was tested 5 times in the past. Yen is very strange animal, few years ...

raczekfx replied Oct 6, 2006I'm sure you wouldn't call it stupid, if you were short both fiber and cable right after the news. Why weren't you.? Market can't be that stupid after all if it 'outsmarts' 95% of intelligent people.

raczekfx replied Oct 5, 2006I simply see more upside potential then down, so I will let go that drop if it happens and setup for a long trade instead. I don't see a break out to a downside unless price closes below 1.1040.

raczekfx replied Oct 5, 2006It wasn't Mouteki that failed, but you, who took (if you did) a trade near very good support/resistance level. If you take every setup on any system you will get slaughtered. You need to have a bigger picture in mind before diving in….

raczekfx replied Oct 5, 2006Yes, wedge is getting tighter and we'll see a break out to the upside soon. I'm looking for a good opportunity to go long. We might see another dip to 1.1120/60 before it happens....
