On the first pin no divergence, and the second pin didn't get broken. I wouldn't have traded none of those 2. Please read the rules laid out in this thread if you haven't. By obeying them you would have avoided both losses.

In your 3th post in this thread you are asking us to send you live setups. If you are looking for a signal service, you are in the wrong place. If you think that's the way this thread should be, why don't you be the leader of the idea and start ...

That is the reason why I have limited my leverage in my broker (Alpari UK) settings. It's so low now that in case I put an extra 0 in my trade size, the trade would not be executed. Not sure if it's possible with your broker, but it makes no sense ...

You're welcome sir. SL for me is size of the bar + 2 pips for spread. I do prefer it to be at max 10 pips on the 5m chart. If the 'size of the bar + spread' is for example 14 pips, then I would usually limit the SL to 10 pips and aim for 2R. That's ...

First I would never set a SL and TP with a Risk:Reward ratio of less than 1:2. In your particular case I would not move SL to BE+1 when you are 5 pips in profit. Why? Because price would only have to retrace 4 pips and you're out. Depending on ...

J16 is not all about bars, it's also about location. First comes location, then you look at what kind of bar (price action) you get at that location. I would also recommend BRV's No Brainer and Strat's Long Term Stress Free threads for more on price ...

Nice I got in too
This trade had good confluence which made it a high probability; Nice PPZ on the 1HR, triple top on the 5m chart off that PPZ + divergence. Jankone M5 thread

Thanks for sharing this Dopey. In my opinion the methods shared here on ForexFactory which can get you a "buy cheap, sell expensive situation" are: 1. BRV's No Brainers 2. J16 Price Action. 3. Fill in for yourself........ I would say BRV's method is ...

"Capitalism: A love story" is coming out soon, it's a Michael Moore documentary. I won't agree with anything in it except that the government bailout was wrong. But I guess it's going to be a lot of fun to see him being stupid. video

By better indi I mean that neither of the indi's is a perfect substitute for each other. That's why it's good to have both of them on your chart. The BB squeeze is interesting and from now on I'll be taking a look at it. My concern over the RSI 50 ...

The beauty of price action is that it's not only limited to Forex, you can apply it on other markets too. The Dow 5m proved it with 2 nice pinbars; 1 with the trend, 1 CT with div.

For me the break is anytime the pin gets broken, whether it's 0,1 pip or 1 pip, I'm in at the break immediately. Some here enter on the close of the pin to avoid price running away, it gives also a more tight stop thus improving your R:R ratio. But ...

Yes, I use RSI only for divergence when doing a CT trade, but I prefer a with the trend pin over a CT one. Instead of BB's I use the 21 EMA, it's almost the same as the mid BB. Whether my target gets hit depends for sure on the market condition. The ...
