I ran a test on stopping volume couple of months ago, as an exit of my trades, and my god it was rubbish, only thing it did at best was knock the market sideways, but then the trend continue, it is getting very hard to read at the moment.

Erm finished on high volume the bear candle, looks to me like a gotcha bar, locking in the traders above, like absorption volume, breaking the morning low. Just what i see.

All the bars with arrows to them are all upbars on high volume or higher volume than bars around them, all closing middle or low. The second arrow across from the left has next bar down selling. So time will tell

Oh opposite to me lol, i see selling lol, as the high volume bars that are upbars are closing in the middle or low, and the upbars closing on the high have the next buy down suggesting selling. Time will tell i suppose lol

Righty, new chart attached. I have highlighted weak bars. It seems, SM are in these upbars selling, high volume suggests this and closing in the middle or low also suggests this. Looks like they just used the news, just now to pump up to sell more.
