Doesn't matter for US. US have been running trade deficits for god knows how long. They have always relied mainly on domestic consumption for economic growth, so cheaper imports are actually better for them.

The truth on who wants a stronger EUR? No one. Deflation isn't necessary bad. It depends on the cause of the deflation whether it is due to a decrease in the money supply or an increase in production.
