the non lag is repainting running on h1 on my platform, so one might as well toss a coin at bar close and hope for the best. a simple myfxbook by threadstarter might put it all to rest. but i cannot see this making pips.

the problem seems to be the free email providers like yahoo. i signed up with smtp2go.com, now works like a charm. free 20 mails a day so good enough for me.
