IMHO, USDCAD will go down if it breaks the red trendline and will be confirmed if it goes thru a break out-pull back-continuation pattern towards south. The chart pattern is a bearish pennant formation.

I did not place a stop loss, I just took advantage of the weakness of pound that the pair would go down to the fib extension of 1.38 which was reckoned from the rate announcement. I exited the trade before fib 1.38......
