MissPips replied Apr 13, 2009If you are using v3.1.5.3 of the trix histo, you need THV3 Trix for MTFHisto.ex4 in your indicators folder for it to work. It will only work for 750 bars (the default for the trix, which it calls).

MissPips replied Apr 13, 2009On the 1m it was tested that 2 points have to come from the 1m f and 5m f, and the other four points can come from any of the other 8 rows. It was tested with a s/l of 15 or the ATR suggestion whichever is higher and a 10 pt target. I think a lot of ...

MissPips replied Apr 13, 2009One last improvement — I noticed in the other thread that sometimes the fib has to go down and not just up (in the examples where people modified the fib tool itself). So I removed the restriction that the top of range has to be greater than ...

MissPips replied Apr 13, 2009Improved Version — Hi All, I'm taking advantage of the quiet holday trading to improve the indicator. V1.8 upgrades include: - You can choose either Bemac's fib levels or eights (default Bemac). - You can have more than one set of fibs. - If ...

MissPips replied Apr 12, 2009I knew somebody was going to ask for that (LOL). See attached. Just be sure to give the box and the fib a different id each time you drop the indie. And dont forget to set Dontmovebox to true if you want the box to stay in the same place when you ...

MissPips replied Apr 12, 2009Dont Move Box Option added to Indie — Hi Scrutch, Here is one with the default set to not repaint the box. (The downside is that the box will never disappear off the chart.) When you drop it on the chart it will create a box (if the range ...

MissPips replied Apr 11, 2009Try the latest version that I posted for Tradewell 1.5. This should fix the problem of a box that spans the US/Asia session. If you want a box that starts at 22:00 and ends at 2:00 the next day, set nextdayend to 1. The box should only be getting ...

MissPips replied Apr 10, 2009Try this one. I recoded the box so it doesn't do that weird thing when time gets close to the start of the period and I made the indie draw a fib that you control by moving the box. You can also just input a period if you want The advantage of using ...

MissPips replied Apr 10, 2009Still beta. The div histo alerts you to trix divergence on higher tfs, and the chop histo lets you know what the HA candle trend is doing on higher tfs - up down or flat

MissPips replied Apr 10, 2009Hi Bemac, Sorry if I offended you. I know you have contributed a lot of wisdom in the FF forums. I just meant to say that both programming and trading are a part of my daily schedule, so in general it's no problem, but that for the next week I will ...

MissPips replied Apr 10, 2009This was what I was thinking about also, and now with that bit of help I managed it as an indicator. What this version of the indicator does is draw the fib for you (as a real fib) based on either an opening range that you input or a box timeframe ...

MissPips replied Apr 9, 2009No problem. What I do is try to trade every day (except holidays) and program on Sunday or after I did either my pip quota or my hour quota, whichever comes first. This particular week programming is going to be a bit slow though because it's a kind ...
