traderathome replied Nov 23, 2008SDX-SweetSpots Upgrade — SDX-SweetSpots_v4: This upgrade does away with the two fixed levels at the whole and half numbers, and allows the user to input up to four different levels of choice. By default, the first level is set to the whole ...

traderathome replied Nov 23, 2008I am with FXDD/Metaquotes server GMT +2/local time (destination NY/EST). I can input 0,0 or 2,2 and get Separators 24 hours apart, but based on midnight to midnight Metaquotes time/5pm ESt to 5pm EST local (N/EST) time. But if I switch to 0,-5 in ...

traderathome replied Nov 23, 2008That is not the point. The point is the indcator says it will draw the yesterday and today lines 24 hours apart and starting with the time you select by entering the server time (source) and destination time. It did not do this!

traderathome replied Nov 23, 2008Period Separator Error? — Well, my question still stands. Using settings of "2" for metaquotes source server 2hrs ahead of GMT and taking data midnight to midnight, by using "-5" for destination, I was effectively shifting the midnight to ...

traderathome replied Nov 23, 2008So, for FXDD servers on Metaquote's timezone (GMT + 2 hours = setting of "2") and the pivots data taken midnight to midnight that time zone (which happens to be 5pm EST to 5pm EST, settings of "2" and "2" are appropriate, as the source and ...

traderathome replied Nov 23, 2008It is great that it works! We have Shimodax to thank for that, as the core coding of time is all his work. One thing it does that I'd like to see changed is that the lines will not be drawn on a chart until a full timeframe into the session. The fib ...

traderathome replied Nov 23, 2008Trix — Cobra, I have been using Trix right along, using 4.4 settings in an indicator that requires only inputs for Length (4), Signal (4), and Method (1=standard, 2=smoothed). In the chart below the first trix is THV, second is 4x4std, third ...

traderathome replied Nov 23, 2008Really, there is not much difference between the two, except in the extremely narrow areas...even then not enough to be of any importance. First chart is using the THV Ichimoku and the second is using the MT4 built in Ichimoku Kinko Hyo. With the ...

traderathome replied Nov 21, 2008Actually, there is a gap between the body of the current candle and the bid price line. When I first saw this, I thought there was no candle at all, because apparently at that time the body was only a line and I did not see it. I have since ...
