Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012The results are unexpected when you see how profitable commercial systems trading sales are. People just want the one thing that's going to make them successful regardless of how unrealistic it may be or how much it contradicts their internal common ...

Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012So I just got done watching this, and I have some comments to make. It starts off with some popular advice on limiting risk and "watching your ass" above everything else, but he seems to trade based on fundamentals or vague technicals (in ...

Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012Voted no...just believe that if you have a good setup you should know where it's invalid at. If it goes invalid, kill it immediately and eat the loss...doing anything else is relying on hope / gambling.

Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012The easiest way to do this with a price action setup is to place the stop right where the price action has by definition been invalidated. A common example for a pinbar is right above or below the nose. If you're trading with moving averages and god ...

Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012If he closes out with break even or profit he won't learn his lesson. Sometimes you need a good dose of pain to make you remember from your mistakes...especially after compounding on them. Anyway I'm 75% sure he's a troll.

Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012It wouldn't surprise me at all if it were true, because there's worse out there today and there are still plenty of gullible people buying just like back then. Just look at how profitable the "Nigerian prince" scam has to have been by how long it ...

Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012Interesting post....in either case, reject or break, there's the potential for a great setup if price action verifies. No reason to have a bias, just watch what it does and play it I think.

Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012If anybody could get out of paying their dues to the market from an already losing trade with any consistency, they would be a very rich person indeed. I would think that over. It's the holy grail except flipped - instead of looking for the ultimate ...

Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012I've never seen the point of hedging for trade purposes If you're going to hedge just stay out of a position, you save yourself spread fees. Then again maybe I'm just missing something others see.

Kanzler replied Dec 15, 2012The only option is to close it. Hedging won't work because if price does start heading your direction you're going to lose the same amount you win back. Next time be responsible and eat your loss like a pro before it becomes too large to swallow.
