fxray replied Dec 15, 2014Good luck. 1hr is the shortest time frame I go to and more often 4hr, having taken a leaf out of SJ's book. Ray

fxray replied Dec 15, 2014Hi Wyley187. Have been watching it on 4hr & 1hr. 4hr shows divergence and no TDI cross on 1hr so I have stayed out. Though I may be proven wrong. My 4hr closes in another 2hrs so will wait. Ray

fxray replied Dec 12, 2014SJ, already started my goal for 2015 as of now. Over past couple of months i've ended up with 8 different currencies and increasingly seeing my success rate diminish as I tried to keep track. So I've binned them all bar 2 and will focus entirely on ...

fxray replied Dec 8, 2014Custom MA's are in my indicator list. Standard part of my MT4 from Alpari. Either indi achieves the same result. Think likica has answered better than me

fxray replied Dec 7, 2014Thanks for the feedback sknight1. I have simplified my charts quite a bit on the advice of SJ - but am working through a process of elimination as I find my feet with this method. Have even tried only candles & TDI but found that too stripped back

fxray replied Dec 6, 2014Here is a question for the more experienced traders. I have posted a chart on the ESD/CHF 4hr. The daily trend is up. The last three vertical red lines indicate what i underrstand to be a valid 'with trend' entry ie: TDI cross, above DSR mean, ...

fxray replied Dec 6, 2014Thanks for the video on the Guppys very helpful. Do I take from your charts that you use them on both 4hr & Daily now? The advice about cleaning my charts was great advice. Experimenting now between either using the Syn dotted lines for S/R levels ...

fxray replied Dec 3, 2014I'm still learning the TMS so being more conservative even in demo but can see how your GU trade worked for you, which I find very helpful. I will experiment more with this type of trade and see how i get on. Many thanks Ray

fxray replied Dec 3, 2014I use the 200 ema on Daily & 4 hr charts to determine trend. 'The trend is your friend' If candles are below 200 look to be in sell trades away from the 200 and the reverse for buys. Buying/selling with the trend is less risky

fxray replied Dec 3, 2014Cheers SJ...will have to read up on how to understand the DSR ... I see how I get on. So easy to add more and more stuff but it will be pips that count in the end.
