Conclusions If the results from 2018 are typical and repeatable, then the “2 Baskets System” can be considered a successful and profitable system. The sample size of 49 weeks could be considered small, but it was taken over the course of an entire ...

“2 Baskets” System 2018 Results Before I begin, I would like to remind all that I trade with 50:1 leverage. So if I had a win of 2%, it would be 4% for someone trading with 100:1 leverage and 8% for someone with 200:1 leverage. Similarly, a 10% loss ...

“2 Baskets System” 2018 Recap I write this post in order to document the results of the “2 Baskets System” for the entire year of 2018. I introduced this approach during May, 2018 in Posts #13,314 and 13,317. I hope this is helpful to anyone that is ...

It never fails. I first posted about my success with the "2 Baskets" system during May 2018. At the time I had 18 consecutive winning weeks. The week I posted, I had my first losing week of the year. Not only that, but it turned out to be the worst ...

You would not be able to monitor the total gain from the 3 baskets so the EA’s would not know that a combined TP has been reached. You would need to stay with your method to do that.

I am running a couple of tests right now of your "CMSM 3 Basket" method. I am just practicing to check that I have my charts and parameters correct. There are two different ways to run the 3 baskets: Method 1: One chart, 3 baskets, 1 EA. This is the ...

I'm not giving up entirely on the original "2 Baskets". I'll still be trading it but I will be allocating a lot more funds to "Negative Trigger". I've been working on a write up summarizing the results of "2 Baskets" for 2018 and also providing my ...

Those are very impressive results, 200 pips per day for 6 weeks. I would like to run some tests using your method. I have been running tests with CMSM 17.01 for the past 4 weeks and my results are nowhere as good as yours. I have been using the ...

Ouch, that was a rough week. I opened my VB on Monday 15:10 GMT and the RB opened on negative trigger of -350 pips on Tuesday 14:05 GMT. I then closed the basket 2 hours later for +141 pips (+2.7%). I was lucky to close it then, otherwise, I would ...

I believe this is going to be a very profitable method. The way I look at it is that I am trusting the trade suggestions made by the indicator, but I am going to wait for a better price before I open a basket.

The triggers are based on my experience trading baskets with CCFp since late 2017. I analyzed all of my results which I document carefully. I have modified those trigger levels from what I was using during 2018. I lowered all of the levels by 50 ...

It is not that simple for me to use a "lots per balance" because the margin requirement will depend on the number of pairs and which pairs specifically. For example, with Oanda with 50:1 leverage, the margin requirement to trade 0.01 lots of EUR/USD ...

Exactly, slow and steady is the way to go. Almost all of my winning baskets close between 150 pips to 250 pips, rarely higher. The average win is about 2.5%. I don't hold out for those big pip winners.

Following up on this point I made in my previous post, I see that -189 pips was -10% for your trade. Had you let it run to -584 pips as I did, it would have meant a -30% drawdown for you! That is way too much. In my case it was less than -10% ...

I prefer trading weekly baskets. From my experience trading baskets for over 1-1/2 years, I have seen how the baskets almost always recover from big drawdowns if given enough time. Almost all of my experience has been using the CCFp-Diff indicator ...
