I looked at IB but the demos they offer are based on the previous weeks data ?? I wanted to see real time data side by side with Oanda. Oanda definetly has a nice user interface and ease of use on my iPad , phone and laptop.

Got a demo for cTrader on MBT, demo account for Citi Fx (standard not premium which is $50k to open), and a demo account for ATC brokers and have run them all against Oanda..The only one that was better was ATC. Citi Fx was the worst, and MBT was ...

hey dforant, not to hijack this thread but how are the spreads on MBT ? I am using their demo and the spreads are slightly better than oanda but when you add in commission just about the same. I trade yen crosses ,looking at EU, Chf, Gbpjpy...thanks

I have been with Oanda for the last 7 months and am mostly happy with the spreads but looking at MBT, ATC, Interactive Brokers to get away from DD accounts. Anyone have experience with other brokers with better spreads ?

Agreed..fear and greed cause us to abandon our original plans and then in retrospect we see that we should have stayed the course. I have had many a good trade while asleep and away from the computer.

For the pro and con of stop losses, what about during news and government reports ? Yesterday the US released strong NFP numbers and unemployment figures. There were 40-60 point spikes in all USD crosses.
