I've actually been trading down since red arrow here on the chart, although I saw the turn up on the MACD I wasn't willing to trade up until it broke the trendline I've drawn here on the MACD. The charts were still making lower lows and lower highs ...

Oh I'm not irritated at them or anything, I just don't want people to be disappointed when it doesn't happen again. Don't join FXCM in anticipation of this, I had clients do that and have now had them close those accounts and move on. From my talks ...

Please don't hold your breath on this. I became an IB for them last year, in January of 2007 they were saying they would have MT4 "within 90 days". I talked to a vice president in September and heard mid-October to November 4th as the latest. Why ...

It sounds kind of like he might get a rebate on the money and wants the cash to go back from a different place so he keeps the X% rebate. It would be easier to trade it.

Well I wouldn't go that far, they work closely with the court system, congress, law enforcement, and the bigger brokerages. I've been there when they brought armed officers in to shut a place down and clean a place out. Fortunately I was only ...

Really depends on the trader. The GBP/JPY has greater volatility, roughly double the volatility of the EUR/JPY. Not an exact science, but click on the month chart and zoom out. The EUR/JPY has an all time range of about 20k pips, the GBP/JPY has an ...

Mmm... short term and long term trades all very profitable. Nice end to the week. The break of the channel to the downside confirms more downward momentum. My short term is still to continue selling on breaks until the 4hr down TL breaks up. Long ...

I still look at vegas lines before entering trades, especially if it's a shorter term trade.
Vegas Method - has it been successful for others?

I'm not opposed to trading up, however I have specific trades entered for a long term move down. I will trade up if the current 4hr TL breaks to the upside, but at the same time I will be holding my shorts. Effectively hedging myself between my long ...

There will always be offshore brokerages. If they want the US brokerages to be able to compete Whatsoever they will lay off account minimums and leverage (To a degree on the leverage, I agree there isn't much excuse for brokers allowing 400:1)

You can get around this by opening a "Company" in another country and having the "Company" open your trading account. If your interested. This is how I'm opening an IB with a swiss broker.

Hehe, and back on topic. The majority of personal account traders would have no reason to waste the 2 weeks studying for it. Even managed account traders can trade without under limited power of attorney. I got mine for work at a brokerage last year. ...

It's interesting that you would say that. I was just talking to a partner last night about this very thing. The NFA is trying to regulate more and more and only succeeding at destabilizing the secure feeling people feel in dealing with a US broker. ...

The closer we get to 1.5 the better the chance it will be hit, however there is also a good chance of some major reversals coming. I am currently trading down on swings up until the 4hr down TL breaks back to the upside. Should have said something ...
