@Eating: Actually the easiest way is to extend CO2 emission fees to every citizen of the Europe. It is hard to check how much CO2 every single person produce but you could calculate it by weight. Hahaha, no doubts

Well, I did this on purpouse that everyone could write ending on his own. It strongly depends on country, it's govt and economy. But I see at least 3 possibilities - further degradation, reforms before default and reforms after default.

Good Economy -> rising tax revenues -> using surplus to increase social -> bad economy -> lowering tax revenues -> rising social needs and costs -> rising debt -> increasing taxes -> worse economy... In fact there are many countries run this way.
