Hi Chris, I don't have any examples of using an additional filter. But have been thinking about using a step-MA for a long time. I found the step-ma to be better than a regular. Analyzing the setup looks promising.

Chris, May I suggest using sl = ATR * user input variable (atr*1.5 or atr*.5, manual input depending on market). Then, we could add ATR trailing stop, i.e. atr-trail-sl = atr*.50, manual input depending on market. Food for thought. tks, cdk
