i really try and keep things simple and not analyse too much, hurts my little brain. pair is rising, will continue after bens speech. decline comes late thursday/early friday.

exactly. imo there is a pattern forming, not 100%, but still roughly there. ben speaks and the dollar goes down. mario speaks and the euro goes up. i dont believe either is a coincidence.

i also expect a rise once ny wakes up as it seems to me, based on times, that most of this rally has come from ny. not sure if that was the same thought process the op had or not, just my two pence.
