Pat is right, the signal works on any timeframe. The important thing is to always trade with the trend.

Patmq answered this correctly but also the trend is sideways on that timeframe. I prefer to see a smooth pullback and then a turn in the direction of the trend. Although the 100 sma is moving up the price has just bumbled along sideways for a while.

Are you buying or selling that? If you're buying the stochs are too high aready, wait for a pullback. If you're selling, don't, it's against the trend.
