GDR3k replied Jul 25, 2012Aye, I don't mind doing that as I'll keep myself occupied, got plenty of dvd box sets I've still not watched yet

GDR3k replied Jul 25, 2012I agree, however statistically going off my personal trading, the first trade of the day is almost always a winner as I tend to wait for that 'perfect' entry. As I said I'm going to make no more than 2 trades per day now but more than likely it'd ...

GDR3k replied Jul 24, 2012Yeah, its when I start making a few trades a day the chances of winning each one drop massively, IMO sticking to one profitable trade per day only is the best way.

GDR3k replied Jul 24, 2012Yeah I don't mind risking the next day as its a new day and S/R levels are fresh which gives me the best chance of a winning trade, I find my first trade of the day is generally a winner and the latter trades of the day don't always come in, so, 1 ...

GDR3k replied Jul 24, 2012Greed indeed, its slowly creeping back into my mind and I know it is and thats the worrying thing, me being greedy is having a profitable trade of say 20-50 pips, then putting another trade on, risking the days profits.

GDR3k replied Jul 24, 2012Thats what I do but keep a bit of profit in my account just to top it up a bit more, but for the next month I'm just gonna compound it and not take any out so I can up the lot size and keep my risk acceptable.

GDR3k replied Jul 24, 2012best way is to keep it simple, a good thief never gives his loot back, same with the markets. In and out until the next day, thats how its gonna be from now on and pay myself a nice healthy sum once a month of around 50% of the monthly profits.

GDR3k replied Jul 24, 2012Yeah since I'm sat here all the time though I'm more inclined to put a trade on instead of netting a set amount and walking away/closing mt4 lol Hows it going trading on that note? harder/easier/same?

GDR3k replied Jul 24, 2012As of today I'm gonna compound my account like mad for atleast a month, going for 20-50 pips off one trade only per day and waiting for that perfect set up and trade using my method only. Made +20 on GU earlier from 5503 to 5523 so thats me done for ...

GDR3k replied Jul 24, 2012gu long @ 1.5503 as 55 is proving to be good support. SL is now at break even. edit, Closed @ 5523 for +20, not risking the bounce back down from the 5525 area, I may get in long again if it breaks above this area and pulls back to the daily pivot ...

Well... Say if the price breaks away from a whole number area, say 1.2100, chances are it'll reach the next half number area of 1.2150 depending on direction but more than likely It'll move about 100 pips to the next whole number, now say if ...Day Trading for a Living
