i just stepped back and looked at that chart. To me it looks very much like an inverted head and shoulders...which means if it has broken the neckline the upside target is ALOT higher.

yes news should just be used for entertainment...and most that times its full of BS. here are two rules I follow. 1) Charts never lie, they are solid and real price action. 2) The news always comes out in the charts first.

I am guessing this is because support and resistance are more solid. SO you will get your breakdown from resistance, then you get your 1, 2 in which 2 looks like another chance to break in the other direction but was infact really just a head fake ...
