tac replied Jul 25, 2009If we are talking about each trade being min 0.75 RR min (i.e. you risk $1000 min you get back is 750) then I think yeah 95% win rate would be a bit high. I reckon 85% is doable using this material or even 90% when you get good.

tac replied Jul 24, 2009Great post, I'm not sure if I read all of it but good stuff. i think the thing people don't realise is that how reliable these bars are if you know when to play them and where to take profit. This is why I will always think of Jim as a ...

tac replied Jul 24, 2009I agree if you used some discretion with dibs, like maybe only take the inside long it it follows a bullish pin bar or outside bar at good location, with space to run.

tac replied Jul 24, 2009I agree what you said. Everyone trades this stuff their own way. If you have ever read the Dibs thread, that is all about lots of small losing/be trades and and then catching a big move with a small stop and descent position size, then adding on the ...

tac replied Jul 24, 2009Good analysis, but as I say there are always PPZ of some sort, what I do is if the nearest PPZ gives over RR 0.75 then I will consider trading it. If the setup isnt A then Ill take full profit.

tac replied Jul 24, 2009One of the amazing things about the material is you can profit in a consolidating market. For me this is a good setup, IF it breaks it will go to the top of the range. If not then it may be played as a 2 bar low.

tac replied Jul 24, 2009Im long on this, off the DBLHC its just doing the usual retrace before it heads up to the top of the range imo, but I could be wrong. It looks like a 3 day bull pin bar

tac replied Jul 24, 2009I agree , if you cant be at the screen all the time, its easier to identify a target based on s/r (major or minor) set you stop, entry/tp and let it do it thing maybe moving to BE if the entry is near a PPZ (using a EA). Taking half of etc is just ...

tac replied Jul 23, 2009Yeah I know how big the market is but im not talking about the whole market im talking about one pair one trade in one direction. Are you saying every pair is liquid enough at all times to soak up any size of trade without moving price? As I said ...

tac replied Jul 23, 2009You are over simplifying it, once you get to a certain amount its difficult to trade the same way, you trade will move price against you by clearing the order board. Also normally people start to trade less risk and look for lower % returns when ...

tac replied Jul 23, 2009If Jim wanted to get rich off the PF don't you think there would be adverts all over the the joint? The fee is low, you get lifetime after 12 months. Jim probably makes more in one trade than he does from his PF profits. BTW I can see where Chris is ...
