Thanks mate, I'm still trying to work out what works best for me. Pharley's work is something I'd aspire to, but not sure I can pull it off. After all it's his style of trading. Anyway, watching the 5minute charts again tonight. Quick and dirty ...

With not a lot else to do tonight, I was trying to trade the 5minute charts. In retrospect I traded into the 1hr 200ema. Twice. Still break even is better than a loss, even though I could've taken a ok profit on the first trade.

Looking at it, I should've taken profit at the point I moved to break even. Price hit the 1hr 200EMA and bounced. Still watching the EURNZD on 4hr to see if there's an entry there, it's tested the trendline I drew and may close as a new high. EDIT: ...

Currently watching GBPCAD, and EURNZD. Might see if I can watch the 5 minute charts tonight and catch a move.

Closed everything, pending order, in profit or not when I got home. Not really expecting to have a job at the end of Monday, someone completely misconstrued a comment I made about spending the weekend locked in watching netflix. Unfortunately for ...

The promised USDCAD sell I have pending. Willing to also sell from the 50% retrace of the daily bar.

Had a bit of a brain fart after a long day at work and clicked sell instead of by. Twice. Close immediately both times though, and entered another buy.

All stops moved up to 134.35. Small profit it it's hit, and clears me to enter another trade. Also setting a pending order on USDCAD, and will upload pics after work.

Had a new high overnight, should price try the top of the weekly control candle (shaded box) I'll see what it does.

Ok this is for a four hour chart so I'm starting with the weekly chart as the big boss, then daily, then show the result on 4hr. See the below charts, I've drawn the lines from the first point I consider a swing to show where I'm looking. As for ...

GBPJPY trade, looking to ride this one for a while. Good example of why I started the thread too, hourly chart shows why. Enry was from the bottom of a weekly control candle, with a strong daily bar from a trendline.

I would have been stopped out on that, as I would have put my stop loss above the bar that triggered your entry.

Hi mate, glad it's all coming together for you. I'm struggling to understand anything other than trading with an established trend, and even then I've been picking entries that slam right into support or resistance and I'm lucky to get out at break ...

I started about July 2015, with a system that used stochastic and was always in the market. Had a great initial run and predictably blew it all with too much risk. Eventually decided I needed to learn price action if I was going to get anywhere, ...

Thanks, I did have support marked but I don't get the rest of that. It's going on 3 years of trying to study this method and I feel like I'm not getting anywhere. Thank you both.

Here's the trade I took yesterday. There was a good 200 pips to the next support, but it stopped me out this morning my time, and not just from the crazy wide spread just after the market open. I reckon I took a decent entry for a basic PASR trade. ...
