volume in FX is a sum of price change, not the amount of currency, so your "high volume" on recovery is just a product of counter orders being sent to offset the crash

so in the layman terms - you can enter into position - set the forward contract date and if the price goes against you for the duration - you pay negative swaps and square the position at the end, or close in profit before expiration of the contract?
