Very true. If my systems trade more than 40-50% of the days I lose money. The reason behind this is that the random nature of the markets is far bigger than most people think.

Your results are correct. The edge is on the discretionary decisions: when/where open/close the recovery trade plus the trade size. It's not that simple.
