VT has never been down, you can still use it as always. You just can't place live trades. Check their website.

If you had a live account with CMS before they sold their retail business, your money should now be with Forex.com, for which you should have received a new account number from them.

There is nothing fishy about this. When CMS sold their retail business to Gain Capital they became an IB to them as well. So when you open a live account through CMS it will actually be with Forex.com. Don't you guys ever read the info on CMS' ...

The survey was up for the past 24 hours, but not any more. As of today 5pm EST the CMS website has been reconfigured to reflect the fact that the retail business has been moved to Forex.com.
