I am not quite sure which is the latest version of the EA. And in subsequest posts it looks like something is wrong, anyway. Before I start ripping it apart, I will wait for you all to figure it out. I might just start writing something fresh, ...

Go to the Forex conventions. Work for a broker sometime. It is quite eye-opening, let's just say. Or be a director of the IT function. Yes programs exist to pick off stops. Risk of Ruin on average for a small forex account (<$1000) exceeds 95%. Most ...

Yes, unless you do not use an MT4 broker. Let's just say that I know a great deal aboui the inner workings of MT4, dealing desks and some of the brokers that use them. Actually the EA makes the strategy more complex, not less. What I may do is ...

OK, But this system seems to have changed considerably from what was proposed at the outset. If you are manually setting trades, an OCO or trailing stop feature would not be possible. Now it seems the only way this becomes a profitable strategy is ...

For USDJPY I see how you made 15 pips one one of the trades. But at approximately 2100 EST you would have been stopped out on the other two lots at 108.31. Your net would be -15, not +15, or you manually intervened?

Agreed. And I do believe that with some tweaking, this system has a lot of promise. Everyone has different objectives in their approach to trading. I value algorithmic trading in which human intervention is either very limited or not needed. ...

Thanks Mike, I know this has been covered, but I want to make doubly sure about time execution and description. When you post results for Monday November 19, you are writing about the trades initiated at the beginning of the session of Sunday the ...

OK, I am not forward testing, I am doing this live. I want to make sure that "theoretical" results in demos versus actuals differences are worked out and I mitigate that risk by trading very very small size. I don't have a lot of faith in demos. I ...

Yes, this is much closer to my results. I also lost 90 in the EURUSD last night. Every day this week was a loser. I use Oanda, so I manually enter order at the trade time.

I thought you were using a stop of 30 pips?? I see on your results that it was changed to 27. Any reason? Thanks.

Very much agreed. I just would like to find out others' results to make sure I am implementing the strategy correctly. BTW, more pips also = more surfing!

OK then how did the system do last night? Are my results far off? I've tried to follow the system exactly as laid out using +15, +30, +50TP, and -30SL. I have used the original pairs GBPUSD, EURUSD, GBPJPY, USDJPY, EURJPY, EURGBP. I enter the orders ...

I decided to "go live" with this strategy on Monday... with horrific results. But in my demo accounts previously, I did see some good results, so I do see promise. In my experimentation I tried lots of pairs. But now I am returning to the six pairs ...
