U.S. Senate Democrats say Clarity Act draft falls short on ethics and consumer safeguards
As reported by CoinDesk, seven Democratic senators say the Republican-proposed text of the Clarity Act in its current form does not go far enough on ethics and several other provisions. Senators Angela Alsobrooks, Cory Booker, Catherine Cortez Masto, Ruben Gallego, John Hickenlooper, Mark Warner and Raphael Warnock say in a joint statement that they remain willing to keep negotiating with Republicans on the bill.
