A top U.S. securities regulator has a warning for the fast-growing world of crypto vaults and onchain lending: moving money onto a blockchain doesn't automatically put it outside the reach of securities law. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Hester Peirce made the case in a statement published July 22, titled 'Headstands and Summervaults.
