SBI Moves to Acquire Singapore Crypto Platform Coinhako
SBI Holdings has announced plans to acquire a majority stake in Singapore digital-asset platform Coinhako, marking a significant step in the group’s global crypto and tokenisation strategy. The Japanese financial conglomerate said its wholly owned subsidiary, SBI Ventures Asset, has signed a letter of intent with Holdbuild Pte. Ltd. to inject capital into Coinhako and purchase shares from existing investors. The proposed transaction, which remains subject to regulatory approval, would see Coinhako become a consolidated subsidiary of SBI Holdings.
