Concerns over AI spending continue to drive much of the conversation on Wall Street in the first few weeks of 2026, with bulls arguing we're still in the early stages of a massive shift that will see companies spend billions more on the technology over the coming years. Bears, on the other hand, say that the investor-driven AI explosion is overhyped and that we're in the midst of a dot-com-like bubble that will inevitably burst.
