Germany’s DZ Bank Gets MiCA Green Light to Launch Retail Crypto Trading
DZ Bank has received regulatory approval to introduce meinKrypto, a digital asset trading platform designed for retail clients across Germany’s cooperative banking network. The approval was granted by BaFin under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework, clearing the way for crypto trading to be offered through Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken. The platform will be integrated directly into the VR Banking App, allowing retail customers to buy and sell cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, ether, litecoin, and cardano.
