Japan Wants Crypto Treated Like Investments, Not Payments — Here’s What’s Changing
Japan is preparing a structural shift in how it regulates cryptocurrencies, moving oversight from the Payment Services Act (PSA) to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (FIEA), the country’s core securities law.
