Greer: Trump could pull out of USMCA next year
United States Trade Representative (USTR) Jamieson Greer said US President Donald Trump could decide to withdraw from the United States-Mexico-Canada trade agreement (USMCA) next year, according to an excerpt from an interview published by Politico on Thursday. "That’s always a scenario," Greer said, explaining that Trump "only wants deals that are a good deal." The USMCA is due for a joint review on July 1, 2026, and the USTR launched a public consultation in September.
