Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter and the current CEO of Block Inc., has voiced support for a grassroots campaign urging encrypted messaging app Signal to integrate Bitcoin (BTC) payments using Cashu, a privacy-preserving eCash protocol. On Oct. 16, Dorsey quoted Cashu’s announcement of "Bitcoin for Signal," a proof of concept to integrate Bitcoin payments into Signal via Cashu.
