Roger Ver, an early Bitcoin investor and longtime crypto evangelist known as “Bitcoin Jesus,” has entered into a deferred prosecution agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), resolving federal tax charges stemming from his willful failure to properly report his bitcoin holdings on tax returns upon his expatriation from the U.S. in 2014.
