The UK Financial Conduct Authority has secured prison sentences totaling over 12 years for Raymondip Bedi and Patrick Mavanga, following their roles in a £1.5 million crypto fraud targeting at least 65 investors. The two men cold-called victims between 2017 and 2019 and persuaded them to invest in fake cryptocurrency schemes through companies including CCX Capital and Astaria Group LLP. Raymondip Bedi was sentenced on July 4 to five years and four months in prison. Patrick Mavanga received a six-year and six-month sentence.
