The government of Dubai will soon allow residents and businesses to pay for government services using cryptocurrency. The move, made possible through a new partnership with global crypto platform Crypto.com, aims to embed digital assets in public finance at scale. The Dubai Department of Finance (DOF) formalized the agreement during the Dubai FinTech Summit.
