Trading will move into limit only starting December 28, 2020 at 2:30 PM PST, and will be fully suspended on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time*. Coinbase announced Monday that it will suspend trading in XRP globally next month, nearly a week after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission hit Ripple with a lawsuit. The firm announced the move in a blog post shared with The Block. Coinbase said that XRP trading will transition to limit-only beginning immediately on December 28 and will suspend fully on January 19 at 10 AM Pacific.
