Bank of Canada Poll Has Near-Record Sales Optimism
Canadian businesses reported near- record optimism about their future sales and continued easing of credit conditions after the country exited a recession, according to surveys published by the central bank. Seventy percent of executives said sales growth will quicken over the next year, while another 21 percent expect it to slow, the Ottawa-based Bank of Canada said today in a quarterly Business Outlook Survey.
