According to local media outlet Press-TV and others, Iran’s central bank plans to allow cryptocurrency mining some legal freedom following an uncertain few months. As Iran battles increased US sanctions and associated financial turmoil, sources have argued cryptocurrency offers a way out of the mess, along with increased fuel for the local economy.
