According to preliminary information from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) production in the manufacturing sector fell by a seasonally and calendar-adjusted 3.1% in December 2022 compared with November 2022, after having increased by 0. 4% (preliminary value: +0.2%).
