Buy now, pay later player Zip Co will add cryptocurrency trading functionality and allow its merchants to accept bitcoin as a form of payment, saying digital and decentralised finance is a “movement” it wants to join. Zip USA chief executive Brad Lindenberg on Tuesday laid out details of the Australian-born fintech’s much-anticipated move beyond payments to products that make up the “Millennial finance diet”, including cryptocurrency.
