SEC asks Court to approve settlement in case against BitFunder operator

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is getting close to resolving a case against former bitcoin-denominated platform and its operator. Earlier today, the regulator submitted a Motion at the New York Southern District Court, asking that the Court approves a settlement in the case targeting BitFunder and its operator Jon E. Montroll. According to the SEC, the proposed consent Judgment is fair and reasonable and in the public interest.
