This video made me feel good about the nerds over at nChain. While every other coin is talking about circumventing the government, nChain is working with the government. Their approach is nuts and bolts, and that's what works in the long run. Nuts and bolts also work especially well in an environment where capital is expensive, such as the one we're entering.

BSV is hanging in there, but so is BCH so that doesn't help the The Wrightening.

BSV longs, it's been a very long time since we had good news on the price action front. I think this ends the streak...

One year ago the Wrightening Ratio stood at WR 2.9.

Today we're at WR 1.9.

When we get to WR 1.0, BSV will be the fifth largest coin. A top-five coin with superior tech? I'll take twenty thousand please!

Check out the comments made on this video. I've never seen such a high percentage of people understanding that CW is Satoshi. The world is starting to wake up boys!! A few more lawsuits like this and they'll be putting their money where their mouth is.

The funny thing about guys like Hodlonaut is that they're emotionally attached to CW's creation. They love bitcoin so much that they deliriously attack its creator because he's not who they expected. What a case study.

In general, the more obsessed someone is with bitcoin, the more they hate CW. The blood of a hardcore hodler will boil at mention of CWs name. It's not that the BSV longs are smarter than the hodlers, it's that we're less emotional about our finance. If you never loved bitcoin, you have no emotion toward CW, which allows you to sift through the evidence and come to the logical conclusion that CW is Satoshi.

Craig's testimony cleared up most of my outstanding questions, especially the cross exam. I was conflating a few incidents, like CW getting hacked and him not being able to access block 1-12. Seeing them as separate events is an eye opener.

There is nothing shady about CW not wanting to publicly sign Satoshi blocks. He's a weird and extremely complex man, so it's difficult to understand his motives, but through tenacious study it all makes sense.

A lie needs a brick wall to protect it, but the truth can emerge from just one crack. The crack is starting to form, and I'm quite confident the wall will fail within 18 months.

I'm not nearly as confident that our BSV trade will start working. CW is abrasive, aggressive, and generally unlikable. That makes it difficult to get people on board with BSV, even if they know he's Satoshi.

To recap...
Confidence that CW is Satoshi: 100%
Confidence that the public will accept CW as Satoshi: 80%
Confidence that the public will buy BSV: 50%

Win or lose, this is the best trade I've ever made.

Prediction: The COPA trial will not happen.

I don't think COPA wants smoke after seeing CW in these court settings. CW is a fraud on the internet, but in court he's a genius with a legendary career and all the facts on his side.

I'm hoping COPA goes to court, as that could be the BSV-$1K catalyst, but I think it has less than 10% chance of taking place.

We may be down on this trade, and Hodlonaut may have won his suit, but damn does this position feel right. We needed the forest to burn down to have any chance for our little seed to grow.

I'm somehow just seeing this: https://www.coindesk.com/business/20...-trial-report/

On a scale of 1-10, I put this at a 7 in terms of good news. Holy shit do we need Craig to get his legal chops up before this trial. If he pulls off a win we're pegging $1,000 BSV FOR SURE!!!

Unfortunately the trail isn't until next year. Such is life as a BSV long.

Jack Dorsey is spearheading a defense fund to fight Craig on behalf of 11 of the 16 developers. This gives an excellent overview of what we're up against: https://bitcoindefense.org/our-work/ (click Tulip Trading Case)

From what I understand, Craig is trying to force the bitcoin Core developers (the guys at the helm of the BTC code) to install a backdoor that can be used by the courts to enforce court orders. He would then use this backdoor to retrieve his "stolen" BTC. I think he'd have to win additional cases to actually get the BTC, but I'm not that far into the details yet.

I have no idea what the odds of this trial going one way or another, but the more eyeballs we have on Craig, the better our chances of BSV going four figures.

The first paragraph says CW "continues to rely on the discredited narrative that he is Bitcoin’s pseudonymous creator." It's true that the narrative is discredited, but anyone who watched Norway knows that CW is not relying on narrative. He's relying on testimony. Some of it's from family, but the the majority is from high level sources like current and former BDO auditors that CW worked with for years. These aren't purjuring types.

CW also brought a rack of documentary evidence to Norway. The crypto narrative was about KPMG's dozen or so complaints about the docs, but the truth is they could only nitpick a small fraction of the evidence. Even their nitpicks were discredited by the opposing accounting firm. That leaves a whole lot of uncontested evidence.

CW looks way better in court than he does on social media, and I love that Dorsey et al don't understand that. Every time CW goes to court it's good for the BSV trade, and going to court against Dorsey could be mega.

We don't need to change the whole narrative for this trade to work. All we need is a few big traders to see through the narrative. That alone could get us to $1,000 BSV.

Neville Sinclair, a former BDO auditor, was just one of the people willing to go to bat for CW. These people don't fit the CW narrative, but they'll be in court!

Elon [is] the biggest fraud in America today.

This^ was a rare take at the time of posting. Not so much these days!

My take on Craig is equally rare, and based on the same rationale: narrative has a shelf-life. Ie when narrative conflicts with truth, the truth will be accepted when the narrative eventually dissipates.

Math is what stopped me from betting against Elon. Shorting TSLA has a max return of 100%, with unlimited loss. I could buy puts, but then I'd have to predict the timing.

Math is also what encourages me to bet on Craig. Buying BSV means unlimited gains with limited losses.

And just for fun, Jack Dorsey loved Elon as much as he hates Craig.

Not trying to convince anyone, just documenting.

I did some catching up today on the back of the nChain civil war, ie the departure of their CEO Ager Hanssen.

It's a bad sign that Ager left nChain in a blaze of glory. Calvin Ayre is tweeting as if Ager is a well-known shyster, which begs the question: why did nChain hire him?

On the other hand, Ager has sucked as CEO. He's supposed to be swaying public opinion, but nothing's changed during his tenure. The new CEO might not be any better, but rolling the dice is our best option at this point.

I don't think it matters either way. What matters is the COPA trail set for January. Can't wait. This guy has a clear take on what's at stake:
